Strategy

1. Generally, you will want to reduce each planes speed to 200 knots and  to a height of 2000 or 3000 feet as soon as possible.
2. Initially, try flying parallel to the runway, close but not so close that you lose mandatory separation.
3. When ‘safe’ to do so it is best to direct the plane to fly perpendicular to the runway.
4. When close to the runway tap the ‘Approach Clearance’ button. This will direct the plane to enter the localiser and land it without further input.
5. Try to avoid flying planes on random paths but rather line them up top to tail..
